Congratulations to PASA for another successful event! It's inspiring to see such strong partnerships that drive innovation in the payments sector. Looking forward to what the future holds!
Fantastic conference and content! Congrats to the PASA – Payments Association of South Africa team!
Such a rich conversation over the two days. Well done to all the speakers and organisers.
PIPC 2025 was truly a standout gathering for the payments industry. The panels and speakers were insightful, and while some topics reflected a stark reality, there was a genuine sense of energy and optimism across the ecosystem.
#PIPC2025 was different! For me, it is all about “How do we make payments Accessible, Faster, Safer and Affordable for the masses of our People and their businesses”. Thank you Ghita Erling and the rest of the Payments Association of South Africa team for such an amazing event!!
Excited to be attending the PASA International Payments Conference (PIPC) a leading platform for exploring the innovations, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of payments across Africa and beyond. Looking forward to engaging discussions with peers and thought leaders driving progress in the payments ecosystem.
Attending PIPC 2025 in Johannesburg! Some truly insightful discussions, delivered by some key leaders in this space, on the future of payments and digital inclusion in South Africa!
As South Africa’s payments landscape continues to evolve, PIPC 2025 serves as the meeting point for visionaries driving a connected, cashless, and customer centric future.
I had the privilege of joining the payments industry at #PIPC2025. PIPC presents a great opportunity to reconnect with old colleagues and clients, make new connections and catch a few controversial views.
The opening day of PIPC 2025 has delivered exceptional perspectives on the strategic forces shaping the global payments ecosystem. Particularly insightful was the exploration of what a de dollarised world could look like and the far-reaching implications for liquidity management, and financial stability. Appreciation to the PIPC 2025 organisers and speakers for catalysing these critical conversations about the future of payments.
Day 2 of #PIPC2025 did not disappoint. There were so many great insights that I’m still trying to synthesize, but what I did want to share with you all was this one perspective that came through from Herman Singh and @seanmotoun: “Playing to win vs Playing to not lose.”
So #PIPC2025 was amazing. We started learning about Australia's Regulatory Overhaul, Geo-political landscapes, and moved our way to FAFT grey listing conversations and safe-guarding ourselves against rising fraud threats. Every single conversation up till now has been incredible, and I'm very honoured to have attended these last two days. It was amazing to see the industry come together to discuss, brainstorm, and share around the future of payments. What a way to inspire innovation. Thank you to all who shared their insights, and particularly to the PIPC team! I have to say – PIPC was a smashing success. You should be incredibly proud of your team(s) for putting together such a spectacular conference.
EY had the privilege of attending the PIPC 2025 and I must commend you and the team on an outstanding conference, it was truly insightful and well organised.
Wow Ghita, that was an exceptional 2 days. You and your team must be exhausted. Just a shout out to you all though. Certainly, the premier event of the calendar year. You can all be proud!!!
What a great conference! We gained valuable insights into the payments industry and are excited to see the innovative solutions that will come from the networking and collaboration fostered here.
